SOFOS Group is pleased to invite you to the first conference of Colombian problems seminar CONTEMPORARY, Whither Colombian society?, Entitled: "Power, authority and political organization." The main theme revolves around the idea that power and political authority exists in every human community, but the political organization combines the relations of authority and power to regulate public affairs without identifying with any of them. We ask where are the checks and if the state is strong enough to exercise the powers. This conference will be Saturday February 20 and will be given by Dr. Armando López Upegui, who is counsel for the UdeA, MA in History from the same university and Historian the U. Nal. Today is an official of the Attorney General's Office
and teacher at the Autonomous UdeA and among other institutions of the city. It's frequent guest program and TELANTIOQUIA GLOBAL FORCE OF ARGUMENT

SOFOS Group is pleased to invite you to the Inaugural Lecture of Colombian problems seminar CONTEMPORARY, Whither Colombian society? This lesson will be on Saturday February 6 and will by Dr. Beatriz Restrepo Gallego.

The central theme to highlight the importance of citizen education in the knowledge of the issues facing our society, so that lifelong learning, enabling the city to acquire and build awareness will continuously improve

Dr. Beatriz Restrepo has studied philosophy at: Manhattanville College, NY University, USA, in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the Universidad Central de Madrid, Spain, and the Institute of Philosophy, Catholic University of Leuven , Belgium.

Teaching Experience: Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, UPB, Institute of Philosophy, U of A. Experience: Dean of the Faculty of Arts of the UPB, Director of the University Museum, U of A, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and social sciences, U of A , Dean of the Faculty of Arts, U of A, General Vice-Rector of the U of A, Antioquia Department of Education and Director of the Strategic Plan of Antioquia.

Senior Board Member EAFIT of the Board of CINDE, Proantioquia Directing Council and the Center for Faith and Culture.
