"PORTRAITS IN A SEA OF LIES"
cycle At the close of 2010: Colombian Contemporary Problems, Whither society Colombian?
Held Otraparte House Museum - South Cra 43A No 27A -11 - Envigado
Date: Saturday November 20, 2010
Time: 2:00 pm with free admission.
The introduction and dialogue will be moderated by Sergio Restrepo, Director Cultural Otraparte House Museum.
"Portraits in a sea of \u200b\u200blies" is the first film by Carlos Gaviria, who has been behind the controversial and successful series as "Rosario Tijeras" and "Woman Killer", has been director of photography on several films and is one of the country's most promising directors. In the Guadalajara Film Festival won the award for best Latin American film and Paola Baldión, the protagonist, received the award for Best Actress. Won Ricardo Alegría Award for Best Film Competition Caribbean International Film Festival of San Juan, by "the strength of its script, its shocking images, representations of their characters and their evidential value."
relates physical and emotional journey undertaken by the protagonist, returning with his cousin (Julián Román), from Bogota to the people of waves and sea breeze on the northern coast of Colombia, which was displaced by violence. After the death of his grandfather (Edgardo Román), they will reclaim their land, and there follows the story ...
In an interview with The Spectator, Carlos Gaviria said that "you live in Colombia and you can not make a movie that we all go out dancing and lifting the duckling. We are a violent country. We have been in a civil war that has lasted 60 years and has produced 10% of displaced persons. That figure is an outrage and an undeniable fact, "he says. "It was not my intention to make a political film, but as they got the issue of displacement, it became that."
"As a road movie, is also a journey into the past and all that entails: the search for roots, for a better future by way of return to the origin and recovery of what belongs to them and defined, even the comparison is also their trauma. "Oswaldo Osorio comments in his article for Cinéfagos.
The film maintains the balance between poverty, violent reality and a beautiful landscape that contrasts with the brutality of the action. The humor and irony in a political arena are the tools to qualify the subsequent drama and ultimately, achieve such a faithful portrait of a country dominated by two extremes: nearly four million displaced and the highest levels of happiness in their inhabitants. The work leads to the deepest fears of the protagonist and our country: violence disguised as factions or ideologies, which is the excuse to seize the land of others, either through removal or by expulsion. This is the dynamic that has prevailed in Colombia since the civil wars of the nineteenth century.
With the release of this film strong and consistent with its theme, the group wants to close in height Sofos cycle 2010 that looked at the reality facing our country.

Presentation of practical classes
What methodology we follow in class?
What methodology we follow in class?
On one side are the lectures and classes across the practices. To pass the course must pass both parts.
The practical part of the course has two types of works:
- Classwork: the practices in the computer room with the teacher practices.
- study: personal entries that you must post in your blog group and whose indications for its use have in the work plan of the subject (more on that later).
The day before each class , I will post an entry with the contents that will be explained, we need you to read before attending class so we miss the explanation and you find it easiest to practice.
practice done in class begins and ends in the classroom. It is important that you follow the instructions to communicate that the practice is over and give me access to it. If I can not get to practice, I can not correct it, if I can not correct it, counts as unrealized practice.
The lower the note spelling as well as if copiáis content of other websites.
is also important ...
- Class attendance is taken into account the final assessment. That
- traigáis helmets to the class, if you need to listen to the tutorials will be given during the course or to listen to the audio and video resources that you are going to need to practice.

Hello, you have not written for quite a while (años!) but the marriage work and consume 104% of my life. Today I write because I think this may help some:
a couple of months ago a friend told me that another friend had sent to do their business cards to China for a price of laughter. Of course the stories of friends of friends does not cause me a lot of security so I asked the url of the web to prove myself. Well, how great this site is that they send you free samples so you can decide if you have any doubts: I arrived. Send samples of any type of graph, with stamping, UV etc. sectorization. Not only cards, as well flyers, notepads, calcomonías, anything they can think of!
designed my new cards immediately and sent to do: D Do not know how much it cost in other countries but I did 300 cards, 4 color printing on the 2 sides, with punching and zoning UV + FedEx shipping (arrived in 9 days) and total cost was U $ S 55 (if, fifty-five U.S. dollars). As the website says if you live in the U.S., Europe or a few countries in Latin America is just the cost of U $ S 25 because they do not charge for Fedex: information that aims to optimally manage customer relationships. Allows customers to contact the company through any channel. Usually consists of three modules: Marketing, Sales, Customer Service.
Another way to earn large sums of money is through search engine positioning or what is known in English as SEO (Search Engine Optimization), which basically sewn for achieving good rankings for sites in search engines like Google, Yahoo, etc, this is ; first interlaced display sites. This is not easy and takes hard work, and companies pay thousands for being in first, or else the top of search engines. There is much information about SEO on the internet and internet marketing .... to learn and good luck!
